Detroit Segway is eager to show you how awesome, exciting, beautiful, and historic Detroit is. The Segway PT is the most fun and exhilarating way to see any city. Detroit’s relatively flat terrain, wide sidewalks and smooth greenways make it a great place for both first-time or experienced riders.

Join us for a tour of the city and learn about famous landmarks, historical sites, beautifully detailed architecture, city and state parks, and more. Enjoy a fun new way to explore the city!

We offer several tour and ride options daily but we only do 1 ride per day. The first person to book for any given day picks which route and time the ride will go. Book early to get your preference!

Enjoyable guided tour by Maurine around part of Detroit to see Christmas lights, Christmas tree and ice rink with a couple of stops to walk around an take pictures. Learning to ride a Segway was quick and intuitive for us first-timers. We had a great time!

Maurine was a great guide! Strongly recommend. Showed us all the sites and had fun seeing the city. A little history, some fun stories, my 6th Segway (first in Detroit) – a fun time. I took along a “newbie” (first timer) who immediately was comfortable moving, stopping, turning, etc. – it’s so easy. Try it!

Our guide Maureen was awesome! She did a quick training before the ride to get us comfortable with the Segway and that was VERY HELPFUL! I was a pro at the end of the ride! The view and tour of downtown Detroit was great! I learned alot. I would recommend this for sure!

Let me say, this was such a great outing for my family! Six of us went because we wanted to try something different. Everyone in my family caught on quickly… except me. LOL. I had a fear of falling off the Segway. Maureen was a wonderful tour guide. Not only was she patient with me (she took the time to make sure I was comfortable and could perform the basics before the tour began), but she encouraged me and made sure I was keeping pace with the group. Her style is very relaxed and informative. She educated us on the history of downtown Detroit and kept the tour fun. I loved it and I’m glad for the experience.
