Strait to the Point
Did you know the Detroit River is actually a Strait? it connects Lake Erie to Lake St. Clair. That fact removes the river from that classification and makes it actually a strait.
On this route, we will roll from our home in Eastern Market, down the Dequindre Cut to Milliken State Park. We’ll continue along the RiverWalk to Hart Plaza, where our music and cultural festivals occur. Crossing Jefferson Avenue we’ll see the Fist of Joe Louis, make a stop at the Spirit of Detroit, and take a peek inside the amazing Guardian Building. We’ll see Campus Martius, Cadillac Square, Hudson’s Detroit and The Belt as we zip back up Gratiot.
