Well, here’s my first post on my new blog page for Detroit Segways. The new WordPress-based website wasn’t as easy to configure as some made it seem. I’ve still got a little tweaking to do but now with a blog page I can communicate with Segway lovers across the globe!
Detroit operations are shut down for the winter but I’m happy to say we ran all the way to October 29th this year. We’ll be moving out of the Renaissance Center when I load everything for Florida. I’ve not confirmed a new location for next season but rest assured that we’ll be in the Central Business District or Rivertown. If you’ve got a lovely (or not so) retail or warehouse space hanging around empty please drop me a line.
I’m also still searching for the perfect location in Venice, FL for the winter. Last year’s space is available but I’d like something more visible and a tidier place for training. We plan to open for the winter the week before Christmas. I’ll be down there prior to that so if you’ve got a group of 5 or more I’d be happy to open earlier for you.
I’m going to try to post daily so please check back!
